Tuft bind strength is recognized as the most fundamental KPI across all carpet backcoat scenarios, determining the yarn fixation stability and service lifespan of carpets. Professional industry standards specify clear grading thresholds for different usage environments. For residential carpets with low-frequency wear, qualified SBR latex needs to deliver a tuft pull-out strength of no less than 4.5 kg to prevent daily yarn shedding and loose threads.
